Born in 1995 in Meknes. Lives and works in Rabat.
R\u00e9da Boudina signs his frescoes RDS since its inception in 2010, when he decides to choose the Applied Arts as an option in the baccalaureate. He then opted to study in preparatory classes for the brevet de technicien sup\u00e9rieur in art and graphic industry and joined the National Institute of Fine Arts of Tetouan (INBAT) from which he graduated in 2019.
His first contact with graffiti was made very early: the graffiti that he watched, fascinated, from the top of the bridge of the railroad of Meknes, represented a striking artistic discovery for him. It was the graffiti of the late Rabie El Addouni, a renowned pioneer graffiti artist in Morocco.
Despite his young age, R\u00e9da Boudina broke into the world of Moroccan Street Art by participating in the most important events dedicated to this art form (Fmud, Jidar, Sbagha Bagha ...).
Today, R\u00e9da Boudina explores through his artistic work the forms and compositions inspired by the brutalist architecture by impregnating himself with its characteristics and its unique way of dominating the space, thus inviting us to question a certain urban modernity in Morocco and immersing us in an artistic rereading that he does.
If post-independence Moroccan artists were interested in the iconography of ancestral Morocco in an attempt to decolonize plastic expression, R\u00e9da is interested in the language of modernity in our post-colonial country, whose economic progress is still ongoing, and whose influence on society is imperceptible.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
